Our courteous and professional team will take care of your lawn, gardens, shrubs and more!
We pride ourselves in our attention to detail and the quality of our workmanship.
We are one of the first companies in rural Manitoba to do our part to be a greener, more environmentally friendly company by switching all of our small lawn care equipment to battery powered such as trimmer, blowers and push mowers.
Unfortunately, we do not have the resources or the technology to switch our zero turn mowers to battery powered, but we hope that in the near future it will be an option!
We provide seasonal pricing versus the pay per cut method, which allows you to budget for the work being done and knowing what each invoice will be throughout the season.
This gives you the peace of mind that your lawn will be on a scheduled route, and maintained weekly during the peak season, and on a 10-14 day schedule during the slower growing months of August and September.
One crew member will check your lawn for debris such as branches and garbage while the other starts to unload the equipment.
Your lawn will then be mowed by either a push mower or zero turn mower, taking care to make straight lines that are visually appealing.
Objects such as trees, buildings, gardens, etc. will be trimmed around with a string trimmer taking special care not to hit the objects with the string.
Once the mowing and trimming is completed, your hard surfaces such as patios, sidewalks and driveways will be blown off, so no grass clipping remain on them, taking special care around vehicles and windows.
We do not remove grass clippings from the lawn unless there are excess, unsightly rows of clippings. We believe that mulching the grass is far better for your lawn as it is a free fertilizer due to the clippings breaking down and releasing nitrogen into the soil.
Once per year a power raking is recommended in the spring to remove old thatch and start the process over again.
We cut our lawns at a height between 2.5-3” (6-7.5cms) which helps the lawn be more draught tolerant as well as choke out some of the weeds.
*We do our best to haul all organic materials removed from spring and fall cleanups to a site which composts and recycles the material if you do not have an area to compost on your property.
